Q.Do I have to use a specific payroll company?
No. We work with all major background payroll processors — EP (Entertainment Partners), Elevate Payroll, EVERYSET, Cast & Crew, and more. Just let us know who you use when you submit your request.
Q.What digital voucher platforms do you support?
We support Everyset, RABS (Run A Better Set), EPIC (Epicset.com), and all other major digital voucher platforms. We can even accommodate productions still using paper vouchers.
Q.How early do I need to submit a casting request?
We recommend 5–7 business days for standard bookings. For large crowd scenes (100+ talent), give us 10+ days. Rush requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us directly.
Q.Who is responsible for I-9 and tax compliance?
Your payroll company handles all compliance documentation. We ensure talent are properly enrolled in their system before shoot day so there are no day-of surprises. The producers' team is still responsible as part of the employing entity for reviewing payroll documentation, including ID's of BG performers. For Union Productions please note the DGA and SAG AFTRA clauses regarding payroll verification.
Q.Can you work with union (SAG-AFTRA) productions?
Yes. We handle both union and non-union background. Our team is well-versed in SAG-AFTRA background rules and regulations across all US states including the special NETFLIX New Mexico agreement.
